Speaking & media

Search, AI and systems — without the demo theater.

Real lessons from building and operating SEO organizations, automation platforms, data systems and production AI workflows. The strongest material comes from systems that broke, refused, were debugged, were measured — and were sometimes deleted entirely.

Talk topics

  • Keynote · 30–45 min

AI that does the work, not the demo

How to design agents that run unattended, verify themselves, and stop when they are wrong.

  • Session · 30 min

When AI should refuse to act

Abstention, fail-closed behavior and rollback as product features. Includes the pipeline that changed nothing for days — correctly.

  • Session · 30 min

3,089 recurring tasks: most can run without a person.

A practical framework for deciding where automation actually pays off — and where the mature answer is no.

  • Session · 30 min

    From SOP to executable system

Turning institutional knowledge into workflows that people, software and agents execute the same way.

    Building SEO operations that scale

What changes when an SEO organization grows from specialists into managers, QA, reporting and automation.

  • Session · 30 min

An operator’s view of SEO, AI Overviews, AEO and GEO — what stays ordinary SEO, and what needs new measurement.

  • Technical · 30 min

    Watch the watcher

Why monitoring needs abstention states, canaries and a way to detect its own failure.

  • Technical · 30 min

The dashboard isn’t wrong until you prove it is

Data discrepancies, source-of-truth design and verifying against the live API instead of the screenshot.

  • Keynote · 30–45 min

    Operator, Product Lead, Builder

Why AI transformation fails in the handoffs between business, product and engineering — and how to close the gap.

100 words · show notes

Alex Zuev is an SEO and digital-systems leader with 22+ years in IT and 15 in search. He has led SEO and web organizations, scaled website production, run hiring at volume, and built production AI and automation systems with scoped permissions, monitoring and rollback. He started as an engineer and entrepreneur, growing his own media and education properties before moving into agency leadership. Today he advises agencies and growth teams on the systems behind search, AI visibility, data and delivery — and still writes code most weeks.

20-second host intro

“My guest today is Alex Zuev — twenty-two years in IT, fifteen in SEO, and currently working where search, AI agents and operations collide.
